Inside an Nvidia GPU
An NVIDIA GPU needs more than NVIDIA silicon. Here are four listed suppliers inside one RTX 4090 card.
This is the MSI GeForce RTX 4090 Gaming X Trio, not the Founders Edition or a data-center GPU. Its reviewed PCB gives us a specific supplier map:
TSMC fabricates NVIDIA's AD102 processor. Micron supplies GDDR6X memory. Monolithic Power Systems supplies the MP2891 power controller. onsemi supplies NCP303151A power stages for GPU and memory voltage.
NVIDIA designs the GPU; MSI makes this graphics-card model. Selected parts and suppliers, not a complete bill of materials. The drawing separates component groups for clarity; it is not a literal layer stack, component count or repair guide. Do not apply this board's supplier list to every RTX 4090 or to H100/Blackwell AI accelerators.
Numerical callouts: 76.3 billion GPU transistors and 24 GB installed memory. The 18 phases are GPU power regulation phases on this board; 50 A is the component rating per power stage, not actual current draw.
