The Pelosi trades
Nancy Pelosi's filings show her husband cut Apple and Nvidia, then bought Intel, Uber and Bloom Energy in 2026.
The full story
Members of Congress have to report stock trades within 45 days, but only as a range. Everything below is from the Pelosis' filings with the House Clerk, and every trade was in her husband Paul Pelosi's account.
Sold, Dec 24-30, 2025: Apple - two sales of $5M-$25M each Nvidia - $1M-$5M Disney - $1M-$5M, all of it PayPal - $250K-$500K, all of it
Bought, new in 2026: Bloom Energy - $3M-$12M in shares and call options (July) Intel - $1.75M-$6.5M, mostly call options (May and July) Uber - $500K-$1M in call options (May)
A call option is the right to buy a stock later at a set price. It costs less than the shares, and it gains or loses value much faster.
Not on the chart: Alphabet and Amazon were each sold ($1M-$5M) and partly bought back ($750K-$1.5M and $600K-$1.25M). With ranges that wide, nobody can tell whether those two ended up net bought or net sold. Small call positions in Apple and Nvidia were bought on Dec 30 too, which is why those two say "part of it".
