Would you pay $20,000 for a home robot?

1X NEO: $20,000 to buy, or $499 a month. 1X says US deliveries start in 2026. Figure: not for sale. It works in a BMW factory. Apptronik: not for sale. The company aims to deliver in large numbers from 2027. Agility: for businesses only. It rents its robot to warehouses. Boston Dynamics: it says every 2026 robot is taken, with more buyers from 2027. Tesla Optimus: not for sale. Elon Musk said in January it would be on sale by the end of 2027.

The logo on each chest is the big company behind it. OpenAI's fund backed 1X early. Hyundai owns Boston Dynamics. Tesla builds its own.

The catch: the dates are each company's own plan. Robot dates have moved before. I found no confirmed home delivery of a NEO yet.
